The In-Gathering is the “helping hand fund” of the North Coast District. It was established many years ago to help people when the resources of their churches were not able to cover the need.  Each year around Thanksgiving we ask churches to take a special offering toward the district In-Gathering Fund so that we can keep lights from being turned off, heat from being shut down, renters from being evicted, or other emergencies from devastating our poorer families.

Your special offering monies will be used only for those persons/families who have contacted their local pastor, who then contacts the district office in writing with all original bills, shut off notices, eviction papers, etc. The families are only allowed to use these special funds one time in a calendar year and they must be used for something that can be “fixed,” even temporarily, by this payment. There is a cap of $500 for any request.
